In this video we highlight Carnegie Lake and the D&R Canal, both truly unique features to consider about Princeton real estate. We talk about the creation of the lake, thanks to Andrew Carnegie’s genorosity, and its many uses including fishing, ice skating and rowing. Speaking of rowing, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to watch the Princeton University rowing teams train and compete right here on Carnegie Lake. The US Olympic Rowing Team also trains here! You can also enjoy the sport by joining the Carnegie Lake Rowing Association.
We also showcase the Delaware & Raritan Canal, another special feature of Princeton, where you can go fishing and canoeing. The towpath along the D&R runs from Trenton to New Brunswick and allows for wonderful hiking, jogging, walking, biking and horseback riding.
