So much choice. We think we will start with the parenting lecture at Montessori as we are always looking for good tips to help us navigate the lives of our children. Next we’ll hit the Gadgets for Holiday Giving at the library to see what’s new and exciting for the holiday season. Then maybe the Business and Investment Opportunities so we can figure out how to pay for all of our gadgets as well as our children’s impending university educations! Then to finish it all off, perhaps a nice relaxing dinner where we can be wooed by the gorgeous wines from Alois Lageder paired with the always delicious food at Eno Terra. All in all sounds like a great day, the only thing we forgot is work! Might have to pare it down a bit.
If you are contenpating a move to the Princeton area you won’t be disappointed. There is always something going on and often the biggest problem is deciding which event to choose. Let us know if we can help! Enjoy! Sig & Syl
College Football
October 19, 2012Princeton vs. Harvard
If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend we have just the ticket! The mighty Harvard Crimson will be in town and so far this season they are undefeated. Princeton has won their last three games so we are hoping for the BIG upset. Last year it was an exciting and high scoring game (56 to 39) with Harvard coming out on top. If you are new to the area this is a great way to enjoy a Saturday and feel the warm spirit of the university. The game starts at 4:00 and tickets are available both online or at the stadium on game day. Post game, head over to the Triumph Brewing Company and try their new “Black Squirrel Ale”. It is absolutely delicious with a nutty concoction of chestnuts, hazelnuts and chocolate that forms what Triumph calls “the squirrelliest beer we’ve ever made.” It was inspired by the Princeton Tour Company and some of the proceeds go to support one of our favorite institutions, the Princeton Public Library. Enjoy! Sig&Syl
Princeton Farmers’ Market!
September 25, 2012Did you know that Princeton has its very own Farmers market? Every Thursday through most of the autumn the market is in full swing with something for everyone. Many of the areas farms are represented as well as interesting mix local producers. You might find anything from jam to furniture wax! It’s also a great place to stop for lunch at the amazing Jammin’ Crepes and try one of their sweet or savory crepes packed with delicious farm fresh ingredients. This week’s market will feature Matthew Backes with the American Century Band under the music tent and HITOPS (a center for adolescent’s health information) will be at the guest table. The market is every Thursday from 11:00 am to 4:00pm through November 15th in Hinds Plaza next to the Princeton Public Library. There will be a special Holiday market on December 13th inside the Community Room at the library and winter markets will be on Dec 13, Jan 10, Feb 14, March 14, and April 11th. We try to go every week and find new inspiration for getting creative in the kitchen. Hope to see you there! Enjoy! Sig & Syl
