Moving to Princeton

Today we had the pleasure of meeting with Peter Rapelye, Headmaster of the Princeton Junior School in Lawrenceville, NJ. The schools mission of nurture and community is evident from the second you step foot onto their beautiful campus. PJS starts as early as 2 years of age and continues through 5th grade. Today we had the pleasure of visiting Stuart Country Day School and meeting with Head Mistress Sister Frances de la Chapelle. Stuart is a member of the Sacred Heart School network and is unique in that it was founded by women for the purpose of educating young women and girls. We hope you enjoy our visit with Sister de la Chapelle as much as we did. We left with the sense that this school is a very special place that has been nurturing,empowering and educating fabulous young women since 1963. They know what they are doing! Enjoy Sig & Syl

Today we had the pleasure of meeting with Marsha Stencel, Head of School at Princeton Montessori. This is the second video in our exciting new series “The Principal’s Corner”! Princeton Montessori is an independent, coeducational day school for children from infant through eighth grade. It is centrally located on Cherry Valley road in Princeton and has over 300 students. We are starting a new series called “The Principal’s Corner”. If you are relocating to the Princeton area and have school age children, this is the series for you! Our goal, and it’s a big one, is to interview all of the Principal’s and Head Masters/Mistresses in the Princeton Area. In order to maintain consistency we will ask them all the same three basic questions. We hope this will provide a little slice of what makes each school unique and highlight some of what they have to offer. Education in the Princeton area can be somewhat overwhelming as there is so much to choose from! We hope this helps! Our first school is Princeton Academy.
