McCarter Theater & The Christmas Carol!

December 13, 2011

In the spirit of the holiday season, we thought we would highlight one of our favorite videos, our backstage tour of the Christmas Carol production at  McCarter Theater!  We are so fortunate to have such a world class theater right in our backyard and to be able to see such fabulous productions.  We hope you enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it! Cheers, Sig & Syl

Skiing Anyone?

February 2, 2011

Okay, let me be the first to confess, I’m a bit of a ski snob. Growing up in Colorado will do this to you!  So when I think of skiing, the Northeast is not exactly foremost in my mind. That said, I have to admit a few things! First, east coast skiers tend to be better technical skiers (all that ice) and second, there are plenty of great family resorts just a little over an hour from Princeton. One of our favorites is Blue Mountain. They have a good ski school with enthusiastic instructors. Our kids have really gotten down the basics and with the record snowfall this year the ice hasn’t been too bad! Just another fun thing to do if you live in Princeton area! Enjoy! Sig & Syl

If you are thinking about moving, or when you move, to Princeton you should definitely take a tour with Mimi Omiecinski (a.k.a. Mimi O.) from Princeton Tour Company! Walk, bike or bus throughout Princeton and learn about Princeton’s fascinating history, architecture and residents – all while Mimi and her tour guides infuse a little fun! In this video Mimi takes us on a brief tour where we learn about John Witherspoon, Reese Witherspoon, Paul Robeson, Paul Tulane, Brooke Shields, David Duchovny, Toni Morrison, Cornel West, Paul Muldoon and Michelle Obama.   Also here is a link to Tusculum,  the home John Witherspoon built in 1773.  Enjoy!
